Imagine having to worry about when your next meal will be or not knowing what you can feed your children for dinner. Unfortunately, that is the reality many of our neighbors face every day. At CCNP we work to help find solutions for those in our community facing food insecurity. We’re excited to be the recipients of a $40,000 grant from @Albertsons @Vons @Pavilions Foundation Nourishing Neighbors to help those in our community receive the benefits of existing federal meals programs such as SNAP/CalFresh, WIC, and free or reduced school nutrition programs. With this grant, CCNP will support 200 families apply for CalFresh and WIC to ensure that families have increased access to food. We can’t thank @Albertsons @Vons @Pavilions Foundation enough for supporting CCNP’s Food Security Program and nourishing our neighbors!
