In partnership with Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), CCNP is dedicated to the workforce and financial development of low to moderate-income individuals in Los Angeles County.


Financial Opportunity Center

Since 2013, CCNP has been an IRS certified VITA Volunteer Income Tax Assistance site, providing free tax preparation for households with low to moderate incomes. Services include ITIN applications, Federal and State EITC outreach and education, plus connections to financial coaching and other supportive resources.

During the extended tax seasons from February 2020 through October 15, 2023, CCNP prepared 1,622 tax returns, helping bring more than $4.9 million back to the community through Federal and State tax credits and refunds.
