CCNP is dedicated to providing the community with the resource to be informed, engaged, and empowered to ensure that their voices are a part of community development initiatives and projects. Based on the premise that the people who live and work in a neighborhood are best-equipped to plan the neighborhood’s future, CCNP is laying the groundwork for residents to become community-based planners to support and guide community education, traffic safety, and economic development projects in their neighborhoods.
CCNP’s Health Outreach and Education programming helps build community wellness by offering educational workshops, screening events, and resources tailored to local health needs. Through partnerships with healthcare providers and community health workers, we deliver timely, accessible, and culturally competent information to families in the Westlake and Pico-Union neighborhoods.
Central City Neighborhood Partners (CCNP) is proud to lead the community data collection efforts for Reconnecting MacArthur Park — a transformative initiative funded by the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG), supported by LADOT Transit, and championed by Councilmember Eunisses Hernandez and the City of Los Angeles.As a trusted community anchor, CCNP is working directly with residents to gather input, uplift community voices, and help shape a more inclusive, walkable, and vibrant Wilshire Boulevard in the heart of Westlake. This initiative reflects our commitment to equity, public health, and fostering stronger neighborhood connections that support the families we serve every day. Separately, CCNP also partners with the Office of Traffic Safety (OTS) to provide bike safety education and distribute bike-related incentives to promote safe mobility in our community — a distinct but complementary effort to improve transportation access and awareness.

THE RIDER STUDY: Real Input Driving Everyday Routes
At LADOT, we always want to make sure our services work for you. That’s why we’re rolling out a citywide “RIDER Study” to explore how our transit network – including DASH neighborhood bus service, Commuter Express regional routes, LAnow microtransit, and Cityride Dial-a-Ride services for seniors and persons with disabilities – can better meet riders’ needs.

Through the CCNP Treasure Your Housing ® program, the CCNP team works side-by-side with the community to help stabilize their housing and prepare them for affordable housing application opportunities. Participants receive financial coaching, housing rights information, guidance regarding required affordable housing documentation, and assistance with filing taxes. Community members who participate in the program increase their financial awareness and learn how to stabilize their housing.
CCNP also works with local affordable housing developments as an application distribution site to ensure that the local community has access to affordable housing opportunities.
