Job Title: Supervising Case Manager

Reports To: Executive Director

Salary: $70,000 per year

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Organizational/Program Background:

Central City Neighborhood Partners (CCNP) was established in 1994 and incorporated as a formal non-profit collaborative in 2000 to address socio-economic conditions impacting low-income families in Los Angeles, focusing on Westlake and expanding to Koreatown in 2024. CCNP’s mission is to catalyze partnerships to systematically tackle the challenges facing low-income families, helping them create pathways to financial security through the FamilySource Center (FSC) program and other signature initiatives.


Position Overview:

The Supervising Case Manager will coordinate and supervise case management services for the FSC Program, working with leadership to develop strategies for sustaining and expanding the program through fund development and grant writing. Key responsibilities include:

  • Training, supervising, and coaching case managers, interns, and volunteers in best practices.
  • Ensuring compliance with confidentiality, legal, and ethical standards.
  • Conducting case conferencing and management meetings to discuss client cases and program objectives.
  • Providing direct intervention as needed, including crisis intervention and conflict mediation.
  • Performing audits of client files and supervising documentation of client services.
  • Establishing collaborations with outside agencies for coordinated service delivery.
  • Carrying a caseload of challenging clients.
  • Completing monthly performance reports and communicating data about CCNP’s work.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of management experience supervising case managers.
  • Proven leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent public speaking and presentation abilities.
  • Experience working with vulnerable families in crisis.
  • Knowledge of educational and asset-building programs and resources.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Culturally competent in working with diverse populations.
  • Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.
  • Strong written communication skills; fluency in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and web-related technologies.
  • Experience managing databases and reporting systems.

Education and Certification Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work.

Other Requirements:

  • Pass all post-offer pre-employment screenings, including a criminal background check.
  • Provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
  • TB Certificate and full COVID-19 vaccination required.
  • Reliable transportation, valid California driver’s license, and state-required automobile insurance.
  • Availability to work until 8 p.m. at least once a week and on weekends as needed.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform essential functions of the job with reasonable accommodations.
  • Frequent walking, standing, and bending; ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
